Even in the Darkness ~ Remain Hopeful

30 Apr

For many of us when the darkness looms, it signifies a time of despair, of gloom.  It feels like there is no hope at the end of our rope.  All we see is darkness.  Where oh where is the moon?  Won’t it shine down a beacon of light?  Sadly it seems, there is nothing anywhere in sight.  Only the stillness and the darkness.

Running on empty, all seems lost.  We are left to wonder what exactly will be the cost ~ for us to once again be free.  What must our souls pay to make a way out from the aftermath of life’s cruel storms?  Our hearts are filled with such deep sadness as our souls seek solace and way to move us beyond this tunnel of madness.

In the distance there is silence.  All that remains is the brutal rain, indeed the bane of what seems a bleak existence.  Wave after wave continuously lash out ~  battering our bodies ~ bruising our spirits.  When will this storm pass?

We stand frozen on the lonely dock, staring blankly at the sea.  We are scared, cold and lonely as can be.  The dark clouds envelop us.  Silently, we watch as the boats pass by ~ it is our only reminder that life does go on ~ that even in the darkness, we must remain Hopeful.  BELIEVE.  TRUST.  For this too shall pass!
