Why I Write

Hi there!   Welcome to Just My two Cents 2.  From the time I could read, I have always had a passion for writing as a way to express my thoughts and feelings.  My mother gave me my very first journal when I was ten ~ and so a PASSION was born.

While working in Executive Management, I continued to hone my craft  by working as a freelance writer for various Newspaper publications.  I have written and edited Newsletters for the companies I have worked for, as well as volunteering my time to serve as Editor for the Newsletter at the Hospital where my two children were born.  Additionally, I have written and edited speeches for several Politicos.   More recently, I am proud to add to my repertoire, copy writing for interventionist, Brad Lamm, creator of the Just 10 Challenge.

Somewhere in between, I got married and put my passion on the back burner, opting instead to climb the corporate ladder.  My career soared and soon came my two Blessings.  Unfortunately however, my marriage fell apart. So I started Blogging as a way to cope while going through a very painful divorce.   Blogging helped me vent and brought me back to my passion.  I have found that it has also allowed me the opportunity to inspire others who were in similar situations.  Today, I am a happy, single mommy of 2 of the BEST children on this Planet!  It has been and continues to be ~  quite a journey…

In my own quiet way, I am changing the world and making my impact.  In addition to Blogging, I continue to feed my passion by doing what I know best ~ writing.  While I am putting my very first book together (as of 12 April 2013, the first draft ~ FINALLY done),  I  also offer editing and proofreading services to my clients.

My goal is helping people to persevere life’s many challenges through faith ~ one day at a time. My story was just the beginning of this journey ~ I can’t wait to see where it will lead us!

Hey, just found this webpage from stumbleupon. It is not blog post I would typically read, but I liked your spin on it. Thank you for creating a blog post worth reading!
